Author Biography

Adib Jalal, designer and architect, studied architecture at the National University in Singapore and is co-founder and director of the city planning Studio Shophouse & Co. He aims to involve the administration and the local communities in urban development, both in the planning stages as well as in every day functioning, and nurturing grassroots efforts to make the city more inclusive.
