Description

A fantasy for 9-11 year-olds, written by Huw Onllwyn Jones. Because of family debt, Jasper's family accept a free holiday that takes the children to the curious world of the 'purple sphere'. They meet Bluefeather, who sends them on a quest to find Skyclimber and retrieve the alpha ring.

Author Biography:

Huw Jones lives in Cardiff, where he works as a civil servant. The idea for this novel came to him during a seminar about European funding. He has a PhD in organic chemistry, likes football, and worries about losing his hair. He is currently involved in a border dispute with a neighbouring allotment holder.
