Author Biography

Spokesperson ANDREW NELSON is an urbanist, dedicated traveler, and National Geographic Traveler contributor for the last 14 years. He is devoted to exploring the world's most interesting cities and their neighborhoods, and writes numerous magazine features as well as a column for Intelligent Travel, Traveler magazine's online newsfeed. The recipient of two Lowell Thomas awards from the Society of American Travel Writers, Nelson also sits on the faculty of Loyola University New Orleans as an assistant professor in the School of Mass Communication. In addition, Nelson is the author and creative force behind two beloved computer adventure games from CyberFlix, a digital gaming company he co-founded in the 1990s. Dust- A Tale of the Wired West and Titanic- Adventure Out of Time were award-winning bestsellers and remain popular among fans to this day.
