In this first of a series, our energetic, loving grandmother takes a tumble when run into by two bumbling bank robbers. In their haste to get away, the robbers leave their money sack behind. Granny peeks inside, sees their hoods on top, and believes these are the men's winter clothes. She sends her little white dog, Bam Bam, after them, and what ensues is the whimsical, zany story of the interaction of Granny, the robbers, and others.
"You must want some of the money," said Larry.
"I don't need a bunny," said Granny. "I have a dog..."

Author Biography:
Candice Mary Thomas was born in Portland, Oregon, and from an early age loved to read and write. After receiving degrees in English Education from Oregon State University and Library and Media from Southern Oregon College, Candice became involved in the lives of children as teacher, librarian, and administrator in both public and private schools as well as in her church. More importantly to Candice, however, is the fact that she is a wife, mother, and grandmother who loves being with her husband, children, and grandchildren, playing on hands and knees or simply providing a listening ear. Candice loves reading, writing, walking, swimming, sewing, and knitting. She currently resides in Southern Oregon with her "too wonderful for words" husband, Terry. Daniel Kennedy is a multi-talented graphic designer and illustrator who was born and raised in Southern Oregon. He developed and operates Orion Graphic Design in Grants Pass, Oregon, specializing in logo design, web design, illustration, and commissioned artwork. He is an avid outdoorsman and may be found hiking, climbing, bicycling, hunting, fishing, and/or camping.
