Author Biography:

Gary Best is a well-known Methodist historian. He has written a number of books, including very well-received biographies of Charles Wesley and, most recently, of Grace Murray, the woman whom John Wesley loved and lost and John Cennick: The Forgotten Evangelist. He is also the author of detective stories, one of which, 'The Jacobite Murders', features Charles Wesley. Since 2009 he has been the Warden of the New Room, Bristol.
