Gorilla Gaming Condenser Microphone reviews

As a twitch streamer with 2.4k followers I highly recommend this for anyone that wants to start streaming, sound exactly like a microphone you would find in a music studio or a pro streamers setup. Make sure you adjust the Volume bar on the microphone, putting it on a 190 degree angle is optimal.

I read many bad reviews, but I don't get it. The mic is decent! Definitely worth the money!

This microphone has a nice build and look to it and a variety of buttons that make VOIP activities easier (mute button, volume & echo adjusters) which are great to have. The sound is alright though you will have to have the mic placed right in front of you as the sound quality deteriorates greatly at even an arms length away. Personally my Cloud2's give far greater mic quality but this is a very cheap mic so if you're looking for a budget mic the Gorilla Gaming mic isn't a bad choice at all. There is no way to change the mic mode though so you will only be able to use it in cardioid mode so keep that in mind. If you want the other modes. Good mic for the price but if you have a higher budget go for something else.

When paired with obs filters. This is such a good mic for the value. Unfortunately the internal build quality is appalling. My one died the same day I got it. After a refund was processed, I opened it up and found globs of solder loosely splattered on the motherboard. Which inevitably caused it to short out. There was also a large amount of rust/corrosion on some of the motherboard connections. Both easy fixes for someone electrically inclined, however such products shouldn't be sent out with needing immediate repairs. Considering these were manufacturing defects. Mighty ape did a great job with the refund though, and treated the situation efficiently.

This condenser mic was a great starter to my set-up as I have to do a lot of filming for uni. I'm not sure what happened but my audio would cut in and out. Unsure if it was an issue with the mic itself or the wire. Eventually had to upgrade. Overall, still a great starter mic.

Anytime I plug headphones into the microphone the audio is flipped right to left & left to right, I know it’s not my headphones cause it doesn’t do it when I plug headphones into the controller directly
