Why pray? What or whom should I pray for if I pray? Are there examples of prayer in the Bible? Are you searching to start a relationship with Jesus, or are you longing to get closer to Him? Have you ever asked these kinds of questions? My hope is that you will find some answers as you read this book. The Bible is full of great examples of men and women who sought God and a closer relationship with Him. I will use examples from my own life to share what God has done for me in reference to prayer. This will only scratch the surface of a deeper relationship with God, but my hope is that you will desire to get closer to Him. A relationship with God through prayer is a process. It will take time that you will have to invest.
