Author Biography:

Michel Syrett has written on and international strategy and business practice for a variety of publications including the Financial Times, European, EuroBusiness, Asian Business and the South China Business Post. He has also conducted research on global management development for Cranfield School of Management, the Economist Intelligence Unit and the Poon Kam Kai Institute of Management in Hong Kong. Jean Lammiman was director of management development at the international food and drinks company Grand Metropolitan (now Diagio) during its expansion into Russia, China and India in the mid-1990s. She currently leads a research programme into international innovation at the Roffey Park Institute.
