Description

When Anne's life in NYC collapses she moves to Tucson (where she has never been). She and her husband and their dog fly out in middle of the night. Novel opens up when Anne has been in Tucson for 14 years and has returned to her writing. Her life is totally different from walk-up tenement in East Village. She has a car, she swims in public pool outside in winter, she and her husband and doggies live in house with backyard. She has become a desert rat with a New York accent. Anne is able to make such radical changes because she gets help from her Higher Self. This novel is the tale of how Anne moved to Tucson, what her NYC life had been like, and what her new Tucson life is like. The last chapter is the present, Anne's life has turned upside down, she finds it exhilarating.

Author Biography

Anne, a native New Yorker, lives in Tucson Arizona now with her husband Bill, their dog Beanie, their cat Priscilla and her 7 kittens. She swims in the public pools every day, and likes to write short stories about her yesterday (sometimes about other experiences) and post them on her Blog on internet. She enjoys being on internet forums with fellow posters. She grew up in Flushing Queens, then moved to Manhattan. She and her husband lived in East Village tenement for 20 years before they moved to Tucson. Anne became New Age shortly before she moved to Tucson, but became much more deeply into it here. She was a member of the Women's Liberation Movement the first year it started. She read A Course In Miracles her first year in Tucson, and it changed her life. She likes reading, swimming, posting, shopping, watching TV. She enjoys chit-chatting with swimmers at pool and lifeguards, also with store clerks. She loves animals. She had a great experience living in NYC "I met people from every walk in life, I learned so much, I am grateful to all of them, but I am perfectly happy in Tucson now, I love the beauty and peace of nature."
