Description

In GIRL ANATOMY we meet serial dater, cosmo swilling Lilly, who is no longer comfortable being a girl in the cozy, predictable world of her child- and teenagedom, but she also knows she is one-hundred-percent NOT ready to be a woman with an eight piece, fine China dinner setting! Isn't there a happy medium? When Lilly's best friend, Maya, gets engaged, Lilly finds herself wavering between extreme bouts of ecstasy and envy but she vows to get her life together and find her own peace and happiness. While gulping too many lattes from the Coffee Bean and planning forever with Maya, Lilly revisits her past and learns to be adventurous, and even optimistic, about her future. Lilly takes us on a wild and wickedly funny ride as she begins her riotous, though touching transformation. If you have ever obsessed about a boy, been jealous of a friend getting engaged, eaten too many French fries so that fitting into your favourite black pants becomes an aerobic activity, drank too much to believe what you did last night or believed in finding The One...Through GIRL ANATOMY you will discover a bit of "Lilly," within yourself.

Author Biography

REBECCA BLOOM is the daughter of renowned entertainment attorney Jake Bloom, whose clients include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Nic Cage, Johnny Depp, Sylvester Stallone, and James Caan. This self proclaimed fashion junkie attended Brown University, studied to be a chef, designed clothes, launched a successful jewellery collection called Speckles by Rebecca Bloom and decided to write a novel-based on the most incredibly painful break-up of her 26 years. Like Lilly, Rebecca is definitely a hopeless romantic and always on the lookout for the right pair of black butt-forgiving pants. Unlike Lilly, she has yet to meet The One and is now focusing on her career as a full time writer in Los Angeles where she was born and raised.
