Author Biography:

John A Finn holds a BSc and PhD in ecology from University College Cork, and a Certificate in Further Professional Studies (Teaching in Higher Education) from The University of Reading. He lectured in the Department of Agriculture at the University of Reading, and later at the Department of Zoology and Animal Ecology at University College Cork. He is now a Researcher at Teagasc (The Irish Agriculture and Food Development Agency)
