George and Lily are curious and full of ideas, but their adventures always seem to end in disaster! Each title features either one or both characters on a different topic, and the stories make that topic familiar and reassuring for children. Anne Gutman, the designer and writer of the series was born in Paris, and is a children's book designer. Georg Hallensleben, is German, has lived in Rome and Paris, frequently works for US publishers and speaks 4 languages. His work appeals to children from around the world.
