New Zealand’s premier psychedelic soul exotica trio – The Mantarays are pleased to announce the release of the album GARDEN OF LIGHT CD, Vinyl, and limited blue vinyl.
Three years in the making, GARDEN OF LIGHT is a surreal journey through exotic landscapes, astral surf pounders and futuristic abstractions.
The Mantarays combine early New Orleans R+B, surf, retro organ grooves and exotic Latin rhythms to create a sound that is unique, sophisticated and infectious.
GARDEN OF LIGHT follows on from their self-titled 5 Track EP released in 2008, and the 12” vinyl release of the same EP in 2009.
