The light show & sounds are good,thin plastic top with cheap looking base.This light comes alive at night & the light show on our baby girls ceiling is certainly worth it.The sounds turn off after a time which is a big plus & only uses 2 AA batteries,so it can be taken with you on camp trips or holidays:) Our babe loves it!

The lighting is absolutely beautiful in a dark atmosphere. I love how the lights are rainbow coloured and how they're star shaped. The sounds of nature are absolutely relaxing especially before sleep or when you need a break. The only flaw is that when it is used as a speaker, the quality is not very good but other than that, I love it :)

Brillant item of technology that proved to be all that it says. I'm a preschool teacher and this brought an amazing reaction from the children. They love it!!!

I've been through 2 of these. They are really nice to look at and create an awesome atmosphere in a bedroom at night and are very peaceful. However, they are exceptionally fragile, knocking it over is enough to break one of the LEDs and from there the others slowly burn out until you're left with just red and then nothing. It happened to both of them thanks to a fiddling toddler so my advice would be to keep out of reach of children (and clumsy adults) and you should have it for a while.

My boyfriends four year old loves it. when he stays it goes everywhere with him so hence the 5 stars!

This lamp gives the roof of your room and all over visual effect. The speaker feature for your iPod a plus.

It is flimsy and cheap. So not worth $45!! It is not a speaker that can connect to your phone well. When you plug your phone in with the cord, it has a terrible clicking sound. The auto shut off is for the sound effects only … The lights keeps going all night, which means batteries don't last long… And plugging it into mains is only an option if you happen to have a DC6V adaptor lying around somewhere, because its not included. Gutted … Such a waste of money.

I really want to like this more but unfortunately this little galaxy has its flaws. For example the lights are not nearly bright enough – even when it's lit up in a pitch black room and when the sound is plugged into an mp3 device the quality is not great at all. But there always is a bright side! The sound of the chirping birds and water drops etc is fantastic in quality in all three levels of volume (why it isn't like this when plugged to an iPod, I don't know), when plugged into a laptop the sound is good too (Again why isn't it the same for an iPod-!) and let's be honest this cute design is a brilliant idea. Not heavy or too much of a drag to carry around the house and did I mention it's really cute-

It's a sort of meditative device I guess (Imagine dark room with slightly glowing rainbow stars and the sound a waterfall…) – it's just a meditative device that doesn't want you to have good quality sounding mp3/iPod music.

Overall I would give it 3 – maybe 3.5 – stars, so good but could be much better.

Not a bad light. Chews through batteries and doesn’t come with a charger/plug. Not as bright as we thought it would be but still nice.

A genius little invention! My 6 month old is so fascinated with it. A great buy

This is a conveniently packaged, awesome, little device. It's helping my son to settle at night, and I want one for my room too.

Lovely item and amazing price, the stars look beautiful, would only want the speaker to be slightly louder or more effective with sound effects

Great lighting on this really in a dark room it fills it with stars and colour looks wonderful great it comes with sound effect and also you can put your own music to it for a very romantic feeling.

Great for kids sleep overs and that romantic touch on an evening it was a great find.
