He is author of more than 742 papers in peer reviewed journals and Editor of more than 42 books. Basil Tarlatzis is Professor of Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Reproductive Medicine and Dean of the School of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He is Visiting Professor, Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dutch-speaking Brussels Free University (AZ-VUB) and Deputy Chairman of the National Authority of Medically Assisted Reproduction. Past Chairman of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and Member of the Ethics and Law Committee of ESHRE. Prof Tarlatzis is Past President of the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) and member of 22 National and 18 International Scientific Societies and of 7 National and 14 International editorial boards.
