Author David Swendsen has spent his life protecting our Natural Resources. In previous books, he has shared his experiences in Environmental Law Enforcement both as a Special Agent and as an Academic. He now turns his attention to even larger concerns regarding the management of our resources, the legacy we will leave future generations, and, significantly, how a culture of Stewardship will improve our own lives in the here and now. He argues that caring for our Natural Resources is a way of caring for each other and our children; and "That respect for wild places and wild things seems in some magical way to strengthen our souls".
