Author Biography:

Peter Sturmey is Professor of Psychology at Queens Collegeand The Graduate Center, City University of New York. He haspublished extensively on developmental disabilities, appliedbehavior analysis, and on issues relating to staff and parenttraining. Mary McMurran is Professor in the University ofNottingham's Institute of Mental Health. She has writtenextensively on personality disorders, alcohol-related aggression,and readiness to engage in therapy.
