Barry Scholes is one of Collins foremost authors. He has written the highly acclaimed series: English Alive and Collins Primary English. Both these series are renowned for providing texts that children are known to love and enjoy. John McIlwain is a former Headmaster and published author of a number of titles on the subject of word and sentence work. John has been Series Editor of Collins Grammar Rules and Editor of Collins Shorter School Dictionary. Karina Law is a fully qualified primary school teacher with wide experience in teaching the Framework. Karina brings to the series recent experience of how children respond to teahcing, in the classroom.
