Description

Our Worst Nightmare: World War III March 6, 2017: U.S. Strategic Command said North Korea launched four guided missiles from a launch site on North Korea's west coast near the border with China. The missiles flew 600 miles across the country before splashing into the Sea of Japan. The most disturbing factor in this exhibition, the Pentagon says North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-Un, is acting more "irrationally and unpredictably" than previously. When you consider two world leaders, half a world apart, sharing similar personality traits, both having the keys to their nuclear arsenals, we must be very afraid for the future of mankind. Trump is the catalyst that has ignited the silent majority into action. Many Americans whose feelings toward minorities and immigrants were dormant for years were jolted into reality by Trump's bigotry. Those who were content to remain silent and remain on the sidelines have found their voice. They will not stand idly by and tolerate Trump's acts of gross inhumanity. The surge of anti-Trump sentiment has produced millions of citizens who are new to politics but want their voices to be heard in efforts to blunt the Trump agenda and work against his re-election. The mid-term elections in 2018 are crucial to forming a beachhead against the prevailing political structure. Finding candidates, male and female, to fight the establishment will be challenging, but an absolute necessity. How do persons who were motivated to demonstrate convert those energies into political action? 1. You need a plan. 2. You need people to implement the plan. 3. You need to see it through to conclusion What is our candidates' view on the National Debt? Electing members to Congress who believe in the importance of eliminating our National Debt is crucial. A well known human trait is "fight or flight" in the face of imminent danger, but unfortunately we humans do not seem to possess a mechanism for threats which are not immediate, but long term. This is the situation we face with our National Debt. When we finally recognize the Debt as an imminent danger, our choices will be few and extremely painful.

Author Biography:

Carl Wray Hilton was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. As a teenager, he worked in the manufacturing plants of Hudson Motor Car Company and Chrysler Corporation. He joined the Naval Air Corps and served in the U.S. Navy until the end of World War II. Carl graduated from M.I.T. with a degree in Economics and Engineering and later earned an MBA from the University of Chicago. Carl's entire career has been creating and managing manufacturing and distribution businesses. His first business venture was as a distributer for the Oilite Division of Chrysler Corporation. This business led to distributing a full line of industrial products and the acquisition of a bronze foundry in Minneapolis. Carl built a manufacturing plant in Arlington Heights, Illinois for the continuous casting of Bronze and Aluminum Bronze. He also founded a Powdered Metal factory in Muskegon, Michigan for the production of automotive and appliance parts. In his Muskegon and Minneapolis factories, Carl worked with representatives of the International Machinists Union to provide for the welfare of his employees in addition to establishing a profit sharing program in which all of his employees participated. Carl has supported every United States President from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Barack Obama. He has never openly criticized a sitting President. This changed with the election of Donald J. Trump. Carl feels this President is the antithesis of everything our country stands for. To remain quiet in the face of atrocities against the American people would be criminal and it is why he felt compelled to write this book.
