In Lost River it's fire season. With dwindling numbers, fires to fight, and family rivalry, the brigade's existence is threatened.

Two-time Logie Award winner Libby Tanner (All Saints) stars as Lost River's newest resident Lill, a book illustrator who has recently moved from the city to a 25-hectare weekender with her husband Perry, a psychologist, played by John Waters (All the Rivers Run, Rush). Lill quickly learns that if you want to be part of a community, you have to work for it. Volunteering as a rural fire fighter is Lill's chance to fit in.
