Author Biography

Fiona Beckett is an award-winning food and wine writer and former Guild of Food Writers Food Journalist of the Year. She has written for many well-known food and drink magazines as well as for leading national newspapers in the UK, including The Times, The Daily Telegraph and currently The Guardian for which she writes the weekly wine column. Fiona is also a contributing editor to the internationally renowned wine magazine Decanter and has her own food and drink matching website, www.matchingfoodandwine.com Her previous books include Cheese: Discovering, Exploring, Enjoying and Food, Wine, & Friends, both published by Ryland Peters & Small. She lives in Bristol.
