"Awesome classic RPG!"

If you have played Final Fantasy 5 this game will feel the same.Because the story of Final Fantasy 3 is similar to FF5 story because they are both about 4 strangers who find out that they are the Warriors of Light and have to save the world with the help of the crystals. Also both games use the famous job system. In FF5 the job system is inproved but the job system in FF3 is still fun. Because this game sticks closely to the original it contains features not seen in FF games anymore. Some of these things are no save points, can't buy phonix downs an MP is replaced with charges for each level of magic. The story is not as strong as other FF games such as FF4 and FF6 but it is still sorta interesting. Graphicly on of the best DS games out there as the whole game is done in beautiful 3-D. However, unlike the FF4 remake there is no voice acting. Even though this is not one of the best FF games it is still an excellent game. If you are a fan of FF or old style RPG then you should get this game.

Just letting you know that this is the USA version of the game. Yes it works in your DS, But you can only send Mognet letters to others players with your version. Sending Mognet Letters can get you the Onion Knight Job.One of, if not the best job in the game.

Oh and the game is Awesome ;)

I've never played a ff game before, but all my friends recommended playing. I've watched them play, and the games are generally absolutely fascinating, but this one frustrated me. i finally worked my way out of the cave, got out of the first village, found my friend and got Cid's permission to take his transport, and STILL with no save point??? STILL no way to save??? I got killed at the first cave i went into, killed at the castle that's in trouble, and must've started the game at least 5 times, with no real luck. Couldn't find any good mobs to grind against to level, they were either too weak or too strong…the graphics were still pretty though.

This game is a great game worthy of a good amount of time to be spent in it. It's the U.S.A one but are you really going to complain as the Ds and Ds games are region free and this works flawlessly on a 3DS bought in Australia.

Unlike other final fantasy games this doesn't throw you what you want when you want like summons which is something to work for to get the maximum lvl summoner job and Phoenix downs I had 6 got none now haha.

Hopefully a collection remake set comes out for the Ds/3DS and android devices and doesn't stay in Japan this time. Most people nowadays have a android device and/or a 3DS since the cost to buy ether device is quite low.

I recommend this game to anyone who has enjoyed ff/Pokemon/ and many other rpgs of late.

"Finally Final Fantasy III out of Japan"

We finally get Final Fantasy III outside of Japan to add to our Final Fantasy collection & in no way is it a disapointment, plenty to do, lots of side quests, the start of the job system which if you want to make the most of adds heaps of hours to your gameplay, I think this Final Fantasy was quite a bit harder than a lot of the others you needed to do a lot more leveling up to get past certain parts only one boss I got really annoyed with all those hours of training other than that other bosses wern't to bad a short bit of training & then your off again continuing the storyline. A must have for any Final Fantasy fans collection

"The Gulgan thus prophesied: This earthquake is only the beginning. The great tremors that swallowed the crystals, the light of our world, only to spawn monsters from the depths of the scarred land, are nothing but harbingers of what is yet to come. Something is coming…fathomless, ominous, and full of sorrow… But hope is not yet lost.

Four souls will be blessed with the light, and so it shall begin… A chance encounter with a sentient crystal changes Luneth’s life forever. Luneth must leave the peaceful village of Ur behind, and seek three others who share his destiny. Together, the four young adventurers set out on a dangerous journey to banish the darkness that threatens their world.
