This movie is very true to the book

I love this movie so much that I even made my very own Facebook NZ group. People should get off their high horses, stop being prides and read the book. It's not about a man degrading a woman. It's a story of a man and a woman and how she taught him to love again. Stop judging before you read.

I've read all the books and loved them and now I've watched the movie and love it. People should watch the movie before the judge. The story line to it is amazing. I can't wait for the next one!!!!!.

Terrible movie. I could only get through half of this junk.

I really enjoyed it, it was funnier than what I thought it would. to be honest it really was Dakota aka Ana that stole the show she was amazing Jamie aka Mr Grey nailed the last red room scene.. I'm really looking forward to Dark

I enjoyed the movie, it was based on the book, understandibly the whole story could not all be crammed into the movie, but I feel it was pulled off well. The ending left me wanting more, it ended so suddenly cant wait for next movie to come out.

I enjoyed seeing it just as much at home as I did at the movies. What a tease that short trailer is for the next movie. Leaves you wanting more ;D

Purchased as a gift for someone, it arrived plastic wrapped and dust-free. My friend wanted to see Fifty Shades Darker, but never got to in the end, so I got her the 50 shades darker dvd, as well as this one.

It's not the same as the book but it is better than the next one

Raunchy with great depictions of both characters from the book and a great ending leaving you craving more, looking forward to the next instalment

The book is definitely better than the movie. It's not bad if you just watch the movie without having read the book. The acting could've been a little better.
