Triple bill of nature documentaries.
‘Titans of the Ice Age’ (2013), narrated by Christopher Plummer, uses CGI animation to recreate the animals that inhabited the Earth during the last glacial period. The film shows the harsh realities of life before civilisation and features species such as the woolly mammoth and the powerful sabre-toothed tiger.
‘Antarctica – On the Edge’ (2014), narrated by Tilda Swinton, follows scientists as they study the wildlife and ever-changing conditions on Earth's most remote and forbidding continent.
Finally, ‘Great White Shark’ (2013) takes a close look at one of nature's most iconic predators. Narrated by Bill Nighy, the film includes contributions from leading figures in shark research as they share their experiences of working with great whites around the world.
