The filter is much bigger than I expected though does the trick. I have already recorded audio for our YouTube videos (educational content, not gaming) and I don't have to clean the audio as much in Adobe Audition (yes!). More importantly, I didn't have the popping sound from some letters. I think the flexible arm that holds the filter needs to a little “less flexible” as it takes a little time to get the filter in the right position as the filter drops down a bit from its own weight. Once that is sorted it works as intended.

As far as performing its function as a pop filter, it definitely does its job! The main problem I’ve found with this product is that the flexible neck you use to position the pop filter in front of your mic just isn’t rigid enough and keeps flopping down under the weight of the filter it’s attached to! Makes it very frustrating to use. I had to come up with a workaround where I had to fasten the flimsy neck of the pop filter to my mic stand so it would kinda stay upright, but even then I’d need to keep re-erecting it regularly when it inevitably starts flopping down again. It’s a good enough pop filter, but it’s hard to recommend the product without pointing out the flimsy neck. I don’t know if it’s this way across the board or if the one I got happens to have faulty build quality, but it’s something to keep in mind before ordering this.
