This is an ok " climb the mountain " movie but I kept feeling it tries (but fails) To copy Terminal Velocity, which is a stunning movie. A good cast with a great storyline, but it doesn't quite make it. Still, a good watch that highlights The way it is for ALL that want to climb Mount Everest now. Different times From Sir Edmund and Sherpa Tensing – a very interesting comparison though.

Only bought this because of Ms Knightley, then i come to realize OMG i wasted my money on this another boring expedition…made up my own conclusion how this will end. But as the tide start turning, it become a nail-biting experience and i must admit, Kleenex will be at your salvation.
Relaxed viewing at first, by the end I felt I was involved in the drama of the disaster, the actors made it very real. Knowing it was a true story added to the sadness and sorrow I felt.
Unbelievable
A must watch tense and unforgiving environment which had to be conquered
Every superlative I went to write didn't do it justice. Truly a cliff hanger. Makes one want to take a closer look at what one would sacrifice for goals & to assess the worthiness of those goals. Truly awful – in the true sense of the word, inspiring REAL awe, not the trite “orsum” with which every little achievement or natural step in everyone's development is greeted today.
