Downloaded the Nintendo demo which we played for quite awhile and it does have some good points. The art style is good and average ,the characters though bland and uninteresting,are well designed and their seperate abilities tend to give a little depth to an otherwise,mundane experience. The areas are rather large and hence give a hint of false freedom when playing,as after all if a large area hasnt much within it,to grab the players attention,then why bother. The puzzles get very annoying after awhile and this is one of the reasons for a low score,also after a rather lenghty play through,i never once felt connected to the character you played as,and this is IMPORTANT in ANY RPG,if you cannot relate to the character you are portrayed in the game as,then the battle is lost. I suggest grabbing it on special in a few months time,but for now,there are many other fine titles for the 3ds out there that put this to shame. A pity really as this did have promise.
