Author Biography:

Evelyn Kallen received her PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Toronto in 1969, and is now Professor Emeritus of Social Science and Anthropology at York University. Her research efforts, over more than two decades, have resulted in numerous publications focussing on racism, ethnicity and ethnic identity, non-ethnic minorities, multiple minority status, and human rights and public policy.
