Author Biography:

Mark Coffey is a teacher of Religion and Philosophy at TheManchester Grammar School and a regular presenter of The DailyService on BBC Radio 4. An Oxford theology graduate, he did aMaster s degree by research on Hauerwas at Leeds Universityunder Nigel Biggar. He has written an introduction to thetheological ethics of Stanley Hauerwas. Dennis Brown teaches at The Manchester Grammar School where he isHead of one of the largest Religion & Philosophy departments inBritain. He studied theology and philosophy at Edinburgh, New Yorkand Oxford. In addition to writing books and articles on earlychurch history, he has authored A Level textbooks on ReligiousStudies. His longstanding and particular interest in Ethics hasseen him develop courses on legal, medical and business Ethics. Hehas wide experience of examining, question paper setting andsyllabus development. He enjoys challenging young people'sassumptions and prejudices.
