There are, for instance, the Public Secondary Schools, whether old endowed foundations or more recently established by Town and County Councils; there are Proprietary Schools, such as have been founded by public companies or other bodies; and there are Private Schools. All these schools belong to the sphere of secondary education. Then, again, there are the Higher Grade Board Schools, which in some large towns must certainly be considered as giving instruction beyond elementary standards and lastly, there are the Technical Schools.
