I'd had used a kneeling chair for years before that never gave me any knee pain but eventually had to throw it out. This one however causes some pretty severe pain in my knees. I'd hazard to guess long term use of this chair could do some damage. Would not recommend at all.
The assembly was simple and fun. After few days of use I'm happy with it, no back pain. Height can be adjusted. Probably the lowest pinhole is more suitable for tall people, top one for shorter people, as it changes the gap between pads. It rolls great on the carpet and it helped me focus on work.
