I compared getting this vs getting a decent sound card with external MAP… And originally went for the sound card. Ended up getting this GSX1000 on a great special, and its an awesome upgrade on even a good soundcard. Great DAC and AMP qualities. Microphone quality isn't so great, especially compared with the sound card. Coupled with Sennheiser GSP500 headphones, unbeatable combo!
Used this on my laptop and pc (windows 10), When it works it’s great and does what it says it will, however sometimes it will just randomly have massive feedback coming through the headset, I followed all troubleshooting guides online updated my windows updates etc, then it will work for a few days then do it again, Then thinking it might just be my computer I tried it on my laptop, sure enough about a week after using it it happened on my laptop as well, have requested a refund.
