Gabrielle Aplin releases her debut album ENGLISH RAIN. The album was recorded with Mike Spencer (Rudimental, Alex Clare) in his Buckingham studio over a period of 6 months. Aplin wrote or co-wrote all the new songs on the album, and played the majority of the instruments herself.
A whip smart self-taught 20-year-old singer songwriter from Bath, Aplin has been writing and recording songs since she was 15. Growing up in a (self-confessed) ‘hippy’ household where music was a family staple, she honed her craft listening to Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen and Nick Drake. She currently has in excess of 29 million Youtube views to date.
