Janson, a comedian who spent ten seasons with Carncross Minstrels, Philadelphia; three seasons with Primrose and West's Minstrels; two seasons with Emerson's Minstrel's in California; played star engagements in the principal theaters of the United States; has compiled a collection of jokes from the early twentieth-century for use in minstrel shows, vaudeville and plays designed for gags for ends.
