Meredith Hooper is a lecturer, historian, Antarctic expert and full-time writer of non-fiction and fiction for children and adults. She grew up in Australia and after graduating in history from the University of Adelaide, she moved to the UK to do a post-graduate history degree at Oxford. Meredith wrote Thank You for My Yukky Present. Emma Quay (pronounced 'kway') grew up in a village near Cambridge, England, and now lives in Grays Point, Sydney, with her husband and two daughters. An honours graduate in illustration and printmaking, Emma has travelled extensively for her work.
