Covering the analogue portions of the Business and Technician Education Council's unit Electronics NIII, this edition is intended to provide a basic introduction to linear electronic circuits. Typical component values are given for many cicuits and, both these and the values calculated in examples, use preferred values for capacitators and resistors. The emphasis throughout is on the use of linear integrated circuits, in particular the op-amp, to realize circuit designs. The digital parts of the unit, including analogue-to-digital and digital-to-analogue, are covered in a companion volume "Digital Electronics for Technicians". The text is intended for use by students of the BTEC Electronics NIII unit but should also be of use to students taking similar courses. This edition has been expanded, provides many more examples, and gives solutions to numerical exerises.
