This cookbook is very useful and has loads of easy and fast recipes! It is the only cookbook I own and as a uni student it is the best.

A classic book no kiwi should be without – a great book to send overseas. Everyone should own one!!!

We've been going through our ‘favourite family recipes’ recently as part of a family history project, and discovered that most of them originally came from an Edmonds Cookbook. The grandparents used the original deluxe 1955 edition, my parents used the revised 1980 edition and I use the 1998 version I was given when I went flatting. Now my daughter uses the junior version. Classic recipes, lots of favourites you'll recognise, foolproof recipes (except the pavlova is a bit tricky!) and should be standard in every NZ kitchen. Try the scones. :)

This particular purchase was a gift, so i don't know the changes from previous editions – however this is a fantastic staple cook book that should be in every-single-kitchen. Defiantly one of the two most used at home, and many recipes are very easy to adjust if you are looking for a slightly different flavour combination & p.s. best apple crumble is in here!!

I had one of my own, so I HAD to get one for my best friend who didn't own one. Definitely something missing from the kitchen if you don't own it. Highly reccommend.

The Edmonds Cookery book would have to be the best cook book ever published. For such an old publication to be still relevant today is amazing. Should be in every kitchen in every house

The best purchase I made on my trip to New Zealand and I just had to obtain another for a friend.

I gave this to my mum for Christmas because our old one from the 90's was getting a bit tattered! It's the main cookbook we use :)

Kiwi essential cook book. I have always had one of these on hand and since the chocolate cake mix has glued two pages together I thought its finally time for an update. Great item for teens leaving home as yes, even they can use these recipes.

My partner is delighted to once again have this cookbook! We lost all our precious books in the Queensland floods and this one was especially precious. Thank you.
