For the price these are a very good pair of speakers, they sound great at all volumes (and get very very loud to) but personally im a massive bass head and these didnt produce as much bass as i'd like even with bass turned all the way up, so I paired them with a nice big sub and now cant be anymore happy with the buy. Would recommend.
The speakers are perfect and the sound is great, The bass could be slightly better.
The one flaw is the tiny horrible remote with some weird battery that looks like it'd be difficult to replace.
Currently I set the speakers the way I like them and use the volume controls on my keyboard to turn it up/down or to mute it.
