Great movie, well worth watching, every twist makes the movie more interesting, if your bored and looking for something to grab your interest this movie will do just that. It starts off slow but even then he holds your attention.

"Interesting story but very repetitive and shallow"

The only parts of this movie that matter are the first 20 minutes and the last 30min. Sure there are maybe 1 or 2 important 5min parts in-between, but it is just a generic action sequence most of the time. Emily's and Tom's acting are really the only good things about the movie.

"Interesting, action filled and a twist on relationships"

Edge of tomorrow copes well with the need to repeat scenes and never drops into boredom. Action and tension accompany it to the end. The heroes situation is strongly reminiscent of gamer life with a reset point, every time the player resets while they recall what they've learnt no one else does so they have to rebuild what they've earned. Technically the situation they find themselves in at the end didn't need to happen as they could have got the information they needed and reset indeed should have to give themselves more time, but it is feasible given it could have happened at anytime and by that time the player is avoiding resets. All in all I liked it, not a must watch but certainly a good watch.

Edge of Tomorrow is a 2014 American military science fiction film on DVD and Ultraviolet, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, and directed by Doug Liman.

The epic action of Edge of Tomorrow unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. Major William Cage is an officer who has never seen a day of combat when he is unceremoniously dropped into what amounts to a suicide mission. Killed within minutes, Cage now finds himself inexplicably thrown into a time loop-forcing him to live out the same brutal combat over and over, fighting and dying again…and again. But with each battle, Cage becomes able to engage the adversaries with increasing skill, alongside Special Forces warrior Rita Vrataski.
