This is a great little game if you've ever wanted to get your kids into DnD. It simulates the experience nicely but is easy to understand. It really encourages the story telling aspect – you have to ‘describe how you attack the monster using magic’ for example. It alternates between monsters and scenarios as you move through the dungeon. It's all roll to hit with simple decisions. The way the rules are written each player takes turns being the DM but you could easily be the DM for your children while they played if the concept was new to them.
