I hope you find this useful. I always hate buying things unless someone else can actually tell me about it first hand. This is a pretty good timer for the money. I bought mine in sep of 2021. It has dual timers and a memory feature so you can hit a button to recall a setting of your choice and you can do this for either of the two timers. The magnets that hold it are pretty strong. Should be no problem on a range hood, or Fridge. The timers are really nice and loud – easy to clear and easy to set. Construction is good and the read out is easy to read even without glasses. Cons – The Alarm will only go sound for 1 minute. Fine if you're in the kitchen but if you're planning to leave you might want to set an alarm on your cellphone too. The only other gripe (and it's pretty minor) is that if you want to set this down on the window sill and use the base (rather than mounting using the magnets) the base has a little pop-out stabilizer so the unit can stand up. Only thing is – it's not quite at the right angle as the rest of the base, so tends to rock if you bump it. Not a biggie in the scheme of things – just something to be aware of. SUMMARY: Personally I would go with this unit again if I had to replace it for some reason. It's not overly complex (which is good) has some cool features like memory, Easy to read and set and is loud enough to hear up stairs if the doors are open.
