One of the best books I've ever read. So rich & full of detail, and describes a period of history so well that it feels like you are there. As the title suggests there is a chapter about HMS Dreadnought, which is a more focused point within a greater part of European history. Read this book, then read “Castles of Steel” by the same author which carries on from where this leads off.
