They Tasted like Chemicals

I was pretty keen for these because I love Dr Pepper and licorice twists, but they honestly just taste and feel like you're biting into a strip of plastic covered in chapstick. I'm not sure if the product is actually like that or if I just got a bad batch, but overall we weren't keen on them. Well, one flatmate was, so they still got eaten!

I got the slight hint of Dr Pepper, but it was like eating soft plastic. Won't be buying again.

When they were making these i think the guy who was in charge of flavour may have lied about ever trying Dr Pepper. If i close my eyes and picture dr pepper and reallllly concentrate, when I eat one of these i can ALMOST pretend they are Dr Pepper flavour. But in reality they taste like eating sort of flavourless tubes. Thats not to say i didnt eat the whole bag

Awesome dr pepper flavour, but not textured like rasberry twists or like liquorice. Think something like dr pepper candy jerky and thats what this sits in the ball park of. Still really tasty but a lil bit of a surprise.

I understand what people are saying about bland but I prefer different. The strange thing is that as you get used to the level of flavour they get better as you progress.

Not that great, like most American confectionary. Very plastic tasting and no flavour, just a very faint smell of Dr. Pepper

I enjoy Dr. Pepper as a drink but it clearly doesn't translate well to sweets. The texture as well – may as well be soft plastic. Deeply regret buying this.

Taste is reminiscent of Dr Pepper but the texture is a bit too slippery.

I expected a good licorice but it tasted like rubber would not buy again

The twists do have the initial Dr Pepper taste but I found them to be a little plastic feeling and once the first taste wore off you were left with a chewy bland item

Smell a lot like Dr Pepper, which is pleasant, but tastes like eating a soft plastic Dr Pepper air freshener – no flavour, only smell.

I did not like these at all.. A bit rubbery, and nothing like the drink. Was a but like Licorice which I don't like, so maybe if you like that kind of flavor you might enjoy it more than I did.

Nice but need to poke the whole twist (or two) in ya mouth at once to get decent flavour burst. Nibbling on it just won't do!

Full of flavour, they didn't last long!
