well you seen her on TV giving the people in her courtroom approving or disapproving looks and words.

Now read her story, Judge Judy, tells her story with as much zest and zeal as she portrays in her show.

What you may not realize though is that Judy writes in a way that will leave you giggling, or laughing the whole way through. she tells real stories, real experiences about every day life, with the characters she sees come through her court room

A marvelous read, witty, eye catching, down home truths told in a way only Judy Sheindlin can say for everyone to take on book

Description

Judy Sheindlin, former supervising judge for Manhattan Family Court has, for 24 years, laid down the law as she understands it: if you want to eat, you have to work; if you have children, you'd better support them; if you break the law, you have to pay; if you tap the public purse, you'd better be accountable. She abandons all judicial restraint in a scathing critique of the system, filled with hard-nosed alternatives to what she perceives as the US' bloated welfare bureaucracy and soft-on-crime laws.

Author Biography:

Judge Judy Sheindlin established herself as a tough but fair judge in New York's family court. She is the presiding judge for Judge Judy, a nationally syndicated daily television show based on real court cases, and the author of two best-selling adult books and a children's book. She lives in New York City with her husband, Jerry, a New York Supreme Court Judge. She is the mother of five and a grandmother of four.
