“The Feast of the Drowned” is read by David Tennant and features The Tenth Doctor with companions, Rose Tyler and Mickey Smith. They investigate into how the brother of one of Rose's friends supposedly drowned after the navy ship he worked on went down at sea, but also how it ties in with the disappearances of several people near a naval base on the Thames. Its set on modern day Earth, but has plenty of scary monsters and extra terrestrial themes. David Tennant acts out each character's voice extremely well. I particularly enjoyed his portrayal of Mickey Smith. “The Feast of the Drowned” is definitely one of my most favourites in BBC's Doctor Who audiobook range. It has all the fast-paced action, adventure, mystery and humour of an episode of Doctor Who. Doctor Who fans of all ages will be entertained by this story. These stories are especially great to listen to when going to sleep, because its like having David Tennant read you a bedtime story. :)
