"Quite Painful"

You can't help getting the feeling that the BBC no longer cared about Doctor Who. The people they put in charge decided to rely on the same old tired villians, mix them with an underwhelming budget, and push it all together with some apathetic acting.

Colin Baker chose to play the role of the Doctor in a certain way, and for all intents and purposes, he did it well. His companion Peri (Nicola Bryant) was good too, if not a little thick. That's the best I can say.

The story is slow, lacks any imagination, comes to a shamelessly predictable ending. Five yawns out of five.

Hilarious with comedian Alexei Sayle in it, captivating with a Knight of The Grand Order Of Oberon fighting for a noble cause, futuristic code of honour etc, spooky with a funeral theme, Dalek faction in fighting, brilliant

"Typical long, winded Colin Baker story."

However, Tranquil Repose is not all it seems and an attempt is made on the Doctor's life.
