You can't help getting the feeling that the BBC no longer cared about Doctor Who. The people they put in charge decided to rely on the same old tired villians, mix them with an underwhelming budget, and push it all together with some apathetic acting.
Colin Baker chose to play the role of the Doctor in a certain way, and for all intents and purposes, he did it well. His companion Peri (Nicola Bryant) was good too, if not a little thick. That's the best I can say.
The story is slow, lacks any imagination, comes to a shamelessly predictable ending. Five yawns out of five.
