Some people may be familliar of the first Death Jr. that disappointed many different reasons.
Death Jr. II: Root of Evil addresses most of the biggest issues in the previous game. The game now has very responsive controls, good graphics, a storyline and just generally a better game.
However, this sort of standard is what the first game should have been like. As a sequel, I wouldn't consider it very good but as a game on it's own, it's not half-bad. The most frustrating (besides the tedious difficulty) is that this game does not know how to flow into cut scenes and you're left wondering momentarily whether your PSP has frozen.
It's not all bad though; the humour and charming characters are a feature in Death Jr. II. In this game, two playable characters are made available and it also supports co-op run and the variety of different (and innovative) weapons unique to each character makes your gaming experience different.
Personally, I enjoyed playing this game but it's hard to overlook some of the game's obvious flaws. I'd recommend it for anyone keen on casual play. Hardcore gamers will definately be disappointed.
