Long-time independent artists & successful local band Lucid 3 are back with their 3rd studio album
For the first time they used an outside producer, award-winning David Long (Dave Dobbyn, Fur Patrol) and have worked with major label EMI whilst maintaining a fervent musical integrity
The songs have been written by Victoria Girling-Butcher between New Plymouth & Europe where she’s spent time in the last two years
Marcus Lawson & Derek Metivier’s rhythm section and contribution to the music then put the distinctively Lucid 3 stamp on the tracks
DAWN PLANES is the first local release to feature the new OPENDISC technology, whereby exclusive Lucid 3 content can be unlocked online to the fan who purchases the CD – CD has been stickered accordingly
This is a long-awaited local release by an extensive nationwide fan-base
