My Monograph Davor Grunwald, Industrial Design is my life story, telling about the struggle in communist Yugoslavia, escaping to Canada; struggle again, but this time to establish myself professionally in Canada and finally - success! It will show all the texts that have emerged in the last forty years: From my Memoirs, detailed descriptions of my designs of the products, the comparison of Croatian with the Canadian experience, "Thumbnails" from my life. Interviews for magazines and newspapers, well-intentioned comments, texts used at three exhibitions in Zagreb and Split will be included in the full, important speeches. In short, my life "slalom" and a large number of historical facts about Croatian and Canadian industrial design will be presented in the form of questions of the most knowledgeable people of cultural developments in Croatia and my answers.
