Dark Hope Essence is the second graphic novel of the Dark Hope series from Australian publisher Dark Hope Comics. Essence is set 2300 years ago where a linguist struggles to understand the meaning of a mysterious scroll, and through a peculiar event is transported into a world of ice and danger. By using a twisting story, Essence is a fictional exploration into an Ice Age origin of religion. With a story by Sabine Schmidt and art by Phil Spinks, Essence will be a suitable story for mid teens and adults. Content contains black and white illustrations, humor and some elements of violence.
